So, I had to run a few errands yesterday, and I thought I would use the opportunity to promote IWearWeed.com, another piece of the RateYours community.

Anyway, I thought I'd do a random survey asking people if they knew what hemp was and how it was different from its better known relative, marijuana. Essentially, I just wanted to clarify the fact that hemp is used for industrial applications, such as clothes, bioplastics, even food.

Since I'm in Paseo, I thought I would stop by DSW, and check their eco-friendly products. Unfortunately, they didn't have any. They used to have some recycled rubber products, but the salesperson couldn't find any in stock, but she did know what hemp was.
